Tamaki Kotatsu

Tamaki Kotatsu is a supporting character in Fire Force (Enen no Shouboutai).

She's a 17-year-old Third Generation pyrokinetic and a Second Class Fire Soldier. She starts as a member of Special Fire Force Company 1 but later transfers to (and is disciplined under) Company 8 after being indirectly involved with a corrupt superior's actions.

Her Ignition Ability, called Nekomata, lets her generate pink flames that form cat-like features (such as ears, two forked tails, and claws), boosting her agility and close-range combat while giving her a catgirl-like appearance in battle.

Physically, she's described as a young girl of average height (about 156 cm / 5'1") with long dark hair in twintails, golden eyes with white pupils, and a slender yet curvy build.

Personality-wise, Tamaki is clumsy and often ends up in awkward, fanservice-heavy mishaps due to her self-proclaimed "Lucky Lecher Lure" curse (a running gag where she accidentally gets into embarrassing/compromising situations and blames others). Despite this comedic side, she shows growth as a capable, determined fighter with a nun-like role in Company 8 and develops feelings for Shinra Kusakabe after he helps her.
