Takeru Noto

Takeru Noto, also known by his nickname Juggernaut, is a supporting character in Fire Force (Enen no Shouboutai). He is a Third Generation pyrokinetic and a Second Class Fire Soldier (Fire Officer) in the Special Fire Force Company 2.

He has the ability to generate and control flames shaped into various weapons and explosives, such as rapid-firing missiles or bombs, giving him tremendous destructive power.

Despite his immense firepower and imposing build (he's very tall at around 203 cm / 6'8"), Takeru is ironically pyrophobic (afraid of fire) and has a meek, nervous, cowardly personality. He joined the Fire Force partly to overcome his fears. His nickname "Juggernaut" comes from his family's potato-farming background (playing on "jagaimo" for potato in Japanese combined with his surname).

He's often seen wearing layered, padded clothing that makes him appear bulkier, which he uses strategically in combat (like hiding inside it to dodge attacks).
