Kaseki

Kaseki is an elderly craftsman (around 60 years old at his introduction in the anime) from Ishigami Village in Dr. Stone. He's a key ally to Senku and the Kingdom of Science, serving as the group's master artisan who turns scientific ideas into practical inventions and tools through his exceptional skill and decades of experience.

Appearance: He's depicted as a short, bald old man with a large white beard, initially coming across as frail or unassuming. However, when he gets excited about a project (which happens often), he dramatically tears off his clothes to reveal a surprisingly ripped, muscular physique underneath—highlighting his hidden strength from a lifetime of hands-on crafting.

Personality: Kaseki is honest, prideful in his workmanship, and incredibly passionate about creating things. He's generally calm and unassuming unless something sparks his interest or challenges his skills, at which point he bursts with boundless energy, enthusiasm, and focus. He gets genuinely thrilled by new challenges and Senku's scientific concepts, often geeking out over the chance to build complex items like glass, engines, or weapons from basic materials.

In the anime, he's voiced with a distinctive, gravelly tone by Mugihito (Japanese) that captures his age and fiery spirit, and he's one of the most endearing and comedic supporting characters thanks to his over-the-top excitement and dedication to craftsmanship.
