Tsubaki Iwanome

Tsubaki Iwanome is a supporting character in the Dead Mount Death Play anime, serving as the manager (or leader) of the Materials Compiling Group No. 3 (often called Comps-3), a special police unit in the Shinjuku Police Department that handles unusual or "troublemaker" cases, including the investigation tied to the Phantom Solitaire.

He's depicted as a suave, easy-going, and charismatic police officer who doesn't fit the typical formal cop stereotype. His appearance stands out with medium-length dyed blond hair (originally black), multiple facial and ear piercings (including earlobe, helix, conch, and eyebrow studs), and a flashy, colorful fashion sense (often wearing bright shirts, red or camouflage trousers rather than standard suits) which leads others (including superiors) to say he looks more like a club host than a detective. He tends to go without glasses in public (possibly using contacts).

In the anime, Iwanome comes across as competent, adaptable, and good at coordinating with others ("matching gears"), while still retaining some old-school beat-cop instincts.
