Xiaoyu Lei

Xiaoyu Lei is a supporting character in the Dead Mount Death Play anime, appearing primarily in the second cour (Part 2).

He is a 19-year-old bodyguard assigned to protect Sayo Shinoyama while she stays with the group around the impostor Polka (the Corpse God in disguise). Despite his youthful, almost childlike appearance (short black hair, a baby-faced look that makes him seem much younger) he's actually a capable and highly skilled fighter.

Xiaoyu has extensive prosthetics (realistic artificial limbs for his legs and left arm, plus specialized finger extensions), including a notable right arm transplant from a powerful dragon entity, which ties into his combat abilities. He was formerly affiliated with the Heilei (an assassination-related group) before serving the Shinoyama Clan.

In the anime, he comes across as polite, humble, and eager to assist at first, though his background involves a darker, more intense side related to his past injuries and loyalties. He's voiced by Misato Fukuen in Japanese (with a higher-pitched tone fitting his shota-like design) and Jan Aponte in English.
