Vice Chairman

Vice Chairman is a high-ranking member of APE (the organization governing humanity in Darling in the FranXX). He serves as the second-in-command to Papa (the Chairman) within the council known as the Seven Sages.

He typically appears in elegant white robes and a distinctive white headpiece, often described as giving him a gnome-like or pointed appearance. His personality is cold, calculating, and utilitarian—he views the child parasites, FRANXX pilots, and even entire plantations as expendable tools for APE's objectives, particularly the eradication of the klaxosaurs.

(Later in the series, major revelations show that he, like Papa, is actually an entity from the alien race VIRM, disguised among humans as part of a larger agenda.)

He's voiced by Nobuo Tobita in Japanese (with Brian Mathis in the English dub).
