9'ε

9'ε (Nine Epsilon, pronounced "Nine Epsilon") is a minor character in Darling in the FranXX. He is a male stamen (pilot) serving in the elite Nines (9's), a special forces unit created by Dr. FRANXX and operating directly under APE as elite soldiers and secret police.

He has light purple/violet hair, grey eyes, and is the tallest among the four male stamens in the Nines squad. He is typically depicted as emotionless, dutiful, and loyal to APE and his comrades, with limited emotional depth or personal development shown in the series.

He partners with 9'δ (Nine Delta) in battle, and both are killed by VIRM forces later in the story (episode 21). Voiced by Atsushi Tamaru (Japanese) and Alejandro Saab (English).
