Baboon

Baboon is a minor character in DARLING in the FRANXX. He is one of the Seven Sages (high-ranking members) of APE, the shadowy organization that governs humanity and oversees the parasite pilots and their battles against the Klaxosaurs.

He appears in council scenes, wearing a distinctive primate mask (matching his codename) and a white-and-gold robe, like the other Sages. Baboon is portrayed as a loyal follower of Papa (the leader of APE), viewing the child pilots (parasites) and their FRANXX units as disposable tools for war rather than individuals with value. Not much else is revealed about his personality or backstory, as he's mostly a background figure in APE's authoritarian structure.
