Zorome

Zorome is one of the main child characters in Darling in the FranXX. He is a loud, brash, and highly competitive boy who pilots the FranXX with his partner, Miku, forming the all-male/female pairing in Squad 13 (designated as Strelizia's backup unit).

Key traits and personality:

• Extremely proud and arrogant, often proclaiming himself the "best" or "number one" among the children.
• Short-tempered and quick to pick fights or argue, especially with Hiro and Ichigo.
• Deep down, he has a strong sense of loyalty to his squad and genuinely cares about his partner Miku, though he rarely shows it openly.
• He has a childish, energetic side and loves being the center of attention.

Appearance:

• Spiky, bright blue hair and matching blue eyes.
• Wears the standard white-and-blue Plantation uniform.
• His code number "666" is tattooed on his chest.

Zorome provides much of the comic relief in the series with his over-the-top confidence and frequent bickering, but he also gets some heartfelt moments of growth throughout the story.
