Armin Arlelt

Armin Arlert (also spelled Armin Arlelt) is one of the main characters and deuteragonists in Attack on Titan. He is Eren Yeager's and Mikasa Ackerman's childhood friend from Shiganshina District.

Physically, Armin is rather short and has a slim, initially frail build with blond hair (often in a bob style), large expressive eyes (blue in the anime, hazel in some descriptions), and a boyish, somewhat feminine face.

Despite appearing to be the physically weakest member of the 104th Training Corps, Armin stands out for his exceptional intelligence, strategic thinking, and analytical mind. He often serves as the "brains" of the group, coming up with clever plans and solutions that prove crucial in battles against the Titans. He has low self-esteem at times, struggles with feelings of inadequacy compared to his stronger friends, and is more timid and less combat-oriented, but his intellect makes him an invaluable asset to the Survey Corps (Scout Regiment), where he eventually rises to a leadership role.

Armin is also deeply curious about the world beyond the Walls, empathetic, loyal, and morally driven, often acting as the group's voice of reason and compassion. (No major late-series spoilers here—just the core character basics.)
