Marlo Freudenberg

Marlo Freudenberg (also spelled Marlowe in some translations) is a supporting character in Attack on Titan.

He is a graduate of the 104th Cadet Corps (from a different division than Eren and the main group) who ranked in the top 10 and chose to join the Military Police Brigade, unusually not for safety or comfort but out of a strong sense of justice—he aimed to rise through the ranks to combat corruption, tax embezzlement, and misuse of power within the organization.

Marlo is portrayed as tall and serious, with black bowl-cut hair, an aquiline nose, and intense eyes. He has a highly principled, righteous personality, often clashing with the more cynical or corrupt attitudes around him (such as in his interactions with Hitch Dreyse and Annie Leonhart).

He later transfers to the Scout Regiment (Survey Corps) during major events and shows courage in battle, though his role remains supporting.
