Re:Monster is a 2024 isekai anime (12 episodes, with a second season announced) based on the light novel/manga by Kogitsune Kanekiru.

Quick synopsis: After being murdered in his original world, the protagonist Tomokui Kanata is reincarnated into a fantasy world as a weak goblin (soon named Goburou or Rou). He keeps his memories from his past life and gains a special ability: by eating creatures (and sometimes other things), he absorbs their powers, abilities, and traits, allowing him to rapidly grow stronger, evolve his body, and gain new skills.

Starting from the bottom of the food chain in a brutal "survival of the fittest" world full of monsters, magic, and various races, he uses his knowledge, appetite, and evolving strength to rise through the ranks of his goblin tribe, eventually becoming its leader and building a larger group/organization (Parabellum in the source material) with loyal subordinates.

It's a classic overpowered protagonist isekai with heavy focus on monster evolution, base-building, combat, and harem elements. Often compared to That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime (which it reportedly inspired), but with a much more monstrous, goblin-centric, and edgier vibe.
