Kichi

Kichi (also known as Gobukichi in his early goblin form) is one of the main characters in the Re:Monster anime. He is the first goblin that the protagonist Rou (formerly Goburou) befriends shortly after reincarnating as a goblin.

In his initial goblin appearance, Kichi is depicted as a typical goblin, small (about the size of an elementary school kid), with green skin, a bald head, and white eyes, but he's noticeably larger and stronger than average goblins from the start. He's portrayed as a straightforward, easy-going "musclehead" type: not very intelligent, but extremely loyal, aggressive in battle, and focused purely on frontline combat with high physical strength and endurance.

He quickly becomes Rou's closest companion and right-hand man, often acting as the tanky brute-force fighter in the group (using weapons like clubs, axes, and shields as he evolves). He later evolves into forms like Hobgoblin and beyond, growing much larger and more powerful, but the anime emphasizes his role as a devoted follower and battle specialist who supports Rou's leadership.

He also develops a romantic relationship with the female goblin E (Gobue), which is a notable part of his character arc. Voiced by Kenta Hosoda (Japanese) and Reagan Murdock (English).
