Shizuno Urushibara

Shizuno Urushibara is one of the main female protagonists in the anime World Break: Aria of Curse for a Holy Swordsman (also known as Seiken Tsukai no World Break).

She is a calm, levelheaded, and somewhat aloof classmate of the protagonist Moroha Haimura at Akane Academy. Shizuno often appears lethargic or sleepy (she’s frequently shown dozing off in class or finding quiet spots to rest around campus) yet this contrasts with her sharp intelligence and skill as a Kuroma (a type of mage who channels mana into spells, often through incantations or a staff). Her abilities focus heavily on dark arts, particularly ice-based and freezing spells.

In terms of personality, she comes across as cool and composed (fitting the "aloof dark-haired girl" archetype), though she warms up over the course of the series. She has a notable connection to Moroha through past-life memories, where she was the lover (specifically the wife) of his previous incarnation as Shu Saura, the "Witch of the Netherworld" in that era.

Physically (as depicted in the anime), she's portrayed as a mature-looking 15-year-old with long wine-colored/purple hair that reaches her thighs, green eyes, pale skin, and a well-endowed, curvaceous figure. She typically wears the Akane Academy uniform.
