Ethnobalt

Ethnobalt (also known as the Boat Hero or Vassal Boat Wielder) is a supporting character who appears in Season 2 of the anime The Rising of the Shield Hero.

He is a native hero from the parallel world (Kizuna's world) and wields the Vassal Boat weapon, a non-cardinal vassal series weapon. He has a rabbit-like theme, often associated with "library rabbits," and is depicted as a young boy with light/silverish hair, red eyes, wearing heavy robes and carrying an ornate staff.

In the anime, Ethnobalt is introduced as a calm, helpful, and somewhat scholarly/magical figure. He assists Naofumi's group (particularly in episodes around his debut in Episode 9 of Season 2) by using his abilities and knowledge to create a Shikigami (familiar) named Raph-chan from Raphtalia's hair and Naofumi's blood. This helps track down missing companions and unlocks new shield forms for Naofumi. He comes across as composed, knowledgeable in magic and rituals, and cooperative with the protagonists without much personal drama or conflict.
