Sachi

Sachi is a supporting character in the anime adaptation of Sword Art Online (primarily appearing in Episode 3 of Season 1, with flashbacks and references later).

She is a member of the beginner-friendly guild Moonlit Black Cats (also called Black Cats of the Full Moon), which Kirito temporarily joins early in the Aincrad arc. In the game, she wields a two-handed long spear as her weapon, though her level and combat confidence remain relatively low.

Personality-wise, Sachi is portrayed as a timid, apprehensive, and kind-hearted girl who is deeply afraid of dying in the death game. She originally had no intention of leaving the safety of the Town of Beginnings and only ventured out reluctantly due to her guildmates (who were her real-life school friends). She shares some emotional similarities with Kirito, both being somewhat socially awkward and inwardly fearful despite outward appearances.

Her design in the anime features her as a petite girl with shoulder-length black hair and a distinctive small mole under the corner of her right eye.

She plays a poignant role in Kirito's early story and development, especially through her interactions with him and the tragic events involving her guild.
