Ma Dongwook

Ma Dongwook (also romanized as Ma Dong-wook or Ma Donguk) is a prominent supporting character in the Solo Leveling anime, particularly prominent in Season 2 during arcs like the Jeju Island Raid.

He is one of South Korea's ten S-Rank Hunters, serving as the Guild Master of the Fame Guild. As a tank-class hunter, he specializes in durability and defense, with his key ability being gigantification — allowing him to dramatically increase his size and strength to become an immovable frontline force capable of withstanding and dishing out massive punishment.

In terms of appearance (as depicted in the anime), he's portrayed as a burly, middle-aged man with a robust, muscular build, bushy black hair (often described like an afro or thick and unkempt), thick eyebrows, and somewhat sloppy facial hair, giving him a tough, imposing yet approachable look. He often appears smiling or laughing, even in serious situations.

Personality-wise, he's friendly, outgoing, laid-back, and compassionate toward his fellow Korean S-Rank Hunters.
