Joo Jae-Hwan

Joo Jae-Hwan is a minor character in the Solo Leveling anime, appearing primarily in the early episodes (especially episode 1 and 2) as part of the group of low-rank hunters who enter the unfortunate Double Dungeon (Cartenon Temple) alongside Sung Jinwoo.

He's portrayed as a D-Rank hunter — a lanky young man with spiky black hair and a lean, athletic build (like a track runner). In terms of personality, he comes across as somewhat reckless and panic-prone under extreme pressure. When the group faces the deadly Statue of God and realizes escape is nearly impossible, Jae-Hwan — desperate to survive after recently signing with a major guild and feeling he has too much to live for — attempts to bolt for the exit on his own, claiming speed as his specialty. This decision leads to his quick and brutal death by the statue's attack.
