Kim Chul

Kim Chul is an A-Rank Hunter affiliated with the White Tiger Guild in the Solo Leveling anime. He appears prominently during the Red Gate Incident arc (starting around Season 2).

Appearance: He's depicted as a large, muscular, and imposing young man with short bluish-gray (or gray) buzz-cut hair and a noticeable scar above his upper lip on the right side. He typically wears heavy armor with a furry collar, giving him a rugged, tank-like warrior look.

Personality: Kim Chul is arrogant, confident, and highly prideful in his strength and rank. He values power above all else, shows little patience or empathy for those he sees as weak (often dismissing lower-ranked hunters as burdens or "excess baggage"), and makes pragmatic but ruthless decisions, such as abandoning weaker party members during crises to prioritize his own group's survival.

He's a stern, self-centered powerhouse who conducts himself seriously but lacks strong leadership empathy, which contributes to his key role and fate in the Red Gate events.
