Iron

Iron is one of Sung Jin-woo's shadow soldiers in the Solo Leveling anime (particularly prominent starting in Season 2 during the Red Gate arc).

He is the resurrected shadow of Kim Chul, a former arrogant and powerful A-Rank hunter from the White Tiger Guild. After Kim Chul's death in a dungeon incident, Jin-woo extracts and names his shadow "Iron" — a fitting name given his bulky, heavily armored build.

In appearance, Iron retains a similar look to his human form: a massive, muscular frame clad in heavy armor, wielding a large battle axe (which becomes even bigger and more imposing after he ranks up to Elite Knight Grade, gaining a double-bladed, smoky design). As a shadow, he has the signature purple glow common to Jin-woo's undead army.

Personality-wise, Iron stands out as a bit dim-witted, overly enthusiastic, and something of a loose cannon — he tends to go overboard in fights, causing excessive destruction and chaos with his brute-force antics. This makes him one of the more comedic and entertaining members of the shadow army, often providing light-hearted moments amid the intense action, like rushing in recklessly or proudly showing off his kills in goofy ways. Despite his hot-headed nature, he's fiercely loyal to Jin-woo and serves as a strong tank-type fighter, comparable to S-Rank level power once upgraded.
