Sumi Sakurasawa

Sumi Sakurasawa is one of the main female characters (a deuteragonist) in the anime/manga Rent-a-Girlfriend (Kanojo, Okarishimasu).

She is a first-year college student and a newcomer rental girlfriend working for the same agency (Diamond) as Chizuru Ichinose. Sumi has a very shy, timid, and introverted personality—she rarely speaks, often communicates through nods, facial expressions, gestures, or soft whispers when she does talk. Despite her extreme shyness and tendency to overthink things, she is kind-hearted, determined to improve herself, and actively works to overcome her social anxiety by taking on the rental girlfriend job.

In appearance, she is petite with a gentle, soft look, featuring reddish-pink hair (often braided on one side) and matching reddish-pink eyes. She typically dresses in cute, feminine outfits. She also has her own spin-off manga focused on her daily life and growth called Kanojo, Hitomishirimasu.
