Skyla

Skyla (known as Fuuro in Japanese) is the Mistralton City Gym Leader in the Unova region, specializing in Flying-type Pokémon. In the anime (Pokémon the Series: Black & White), she is also a skilled cargo pilot, often seen flying planes, which ties into her love for the sky and aviation (a passion inherited from her grandfather, a former Gym Leader).

Appearance: She has tan skin, blue eyes, and long dark-red/rose pink hair styled with a propeller-like accessory and a bun. Her outfit is pilot-inspired and sporty: a light-blue long-sleeved crop top, dark-blue gloves and short-shorts, tall dark-blue boots, and additional straps and holsters for a dynamic, high-flying look.

Personality: Skyla is energetic, bubbly, outgoing, and carefree. She initially comes across as somewhat arrogant and overconfident, using her self-invented "Air Battles" (mental simulations instead of actual fights) to quickly hand out or deny the Jet Badge, which frustrates challengers like Ash and Cilan. She can seem dismissive of traditional battles at first, believing she can predict outcomes perfectly. After a proper battle with Ash (and some pushing from her grandfather and friends), she grows to appreciate real battles more and becomes a more dedicated Gym Leader. Overall, she's cheerful, optimistic, and passionate about flying and Pokémon.

She appears mainly in the episodes "Cilan Takes Flight!" and "An Amazing Aerial Battle!" where her Gym challenge arc unfolds.
