Professor Burnet

Professor Burnet is a prominent character in the Pokémon anime, particularly in Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon (and with appearances in Pokémon Journeys: The Series).

She is a highly respected researcher and professor specializing in Ultra Wormholes, other dimensions, Ultra Beasts, and related phenomena. She is intelligent, technically skilled, and outgoing with a cheeky, friendly personality—she's caring toward her friends and takes on a supportive, almost motherly role at times.

Physically, she has tanned skin, medium-short spiky white hair that points backward, yellow eyes, and typically wears a gray vest (or tank top), black stirrup pants, green shoes, and a green headband, along with a silver necklace that includes her wedding ring.

In the anime, she marries Professor Kukui (after he proposes), moves in with him (and temporarily with Ash during his Alola stay), and later becomes the mother of their son, Lei. She first appears in the episode "A Dream Encounter!" after winning an "Alola Woman of the Year" award as an active researcher, and she becomes involved in key plotlines involving Nebby (Cosmog/Solgaleo) and Ultra Wormhole events.
