Talhand

Talhand (also known as Talhand the Clifftop or "Talhand of the Rugged Peak") is a supporting character in Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation.

He is a short, rugged dwarf magician and former member of the S-rank adventurer party "Fang of the Black Wolf," alongside Paul Greyrat (before Rudeus was born). After the party disbanded, he continued adventuring, often solo or occasionally teaming up with others.

Talhand is typically clad in heavy dark armor, gauntlets, and a helmet, with a long orange beard split by bracers and a white robe underneath—giving him a tank-like, heavily armored magic knight appearance despite being a mage. He has a high tolerance for alcohol (typical of dwarves) and shares their love for craftsmanship, iron, rock, and blacksmithing.

He's portrayed as a stubborn maverick among his kind due to his unconventional thinking (such as studying "less traditional" magic types like water and wind, which led to him leaving his home village). He later joins Roxy and Elinalise in helping search for Paul's missing family after the Teleportation Incident.
