Arue

Arue (full name: Arue the Crimson Demon) is a supporting character from KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World! and a member of the Crimson Demon Clan.

She is one of Megumin's classmates and closest friends back in the Crimson Demon village. Arue is known for her:

• Extremely dramatic and theatrical personality (very typical of Crimson Demons)
• Love of writing chuunibyou-style self-insert novels and erotic literature
• Claim of having the strongest "villainess aura" among the Crimson Demon girls
• Signature eyepatch (worn purely for chuuni aesthetics, not because of any actual injury)

She usually appears calm and composed on the surface but gets very passionate when talking about her writing or chuuni fantasies. In the main story she has only a few appearances (mostly in the village arcs and some side stories/light novels), but she becomes more prominent in the KonoSuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World! Megumin spin-off.
