Tokugawa Ieyasu

Tokugawa Ieyasu in In Another World With My Smartphone (also known as Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomo ni) is a supporting character and one of the nine lords (daimyo) of the Divine Nation of Eashen, the series' Japan-inspired eastern country.

He is depicted as a somewhat portly, middle-aged man with a mustache and goatee. As the lord ruling over Oedo (the local equivalent of Edo), he is the feudal master of Yae Kokonoe's family domain, making him closely connected to the protagonists through her. He is portrayed as a reasonable and pragmatic leader, loosely based on the historical Tokugawa Ieyasu but adapted to fit the anime's fantasy setting (with intentional name/spelling variations in some translations to highlight the differences from real Japan).

He appears mainly during the Eashen arc, where he interacts with Touya Mochizuki and allies amid conflicts involving other lords like Takeda Shingen. Voiced by Tesshō Genda (Japanese) and Kent Williams (English).
