Yuriko Takagi

Yuriko Takagi is a supporting character in Highschool of the Dead (also known as Gakuen Mokushiroku). She is the wife of Souichiro Takagi (the head of a powerful family and estate owner) and the mother of main character Saya Takagi.

Before the zombie apocalypse, Yuriko was a successful Wall Street stockbroker in New York. She married Souichiro after being impressed by his charisma and political abilities, and her business connections helped significantly increase the Takagi family's wealth. She is portrayed as intelligent (Saya inherited her genius-level intellect), calm, reserved, loyal, and very devoted to her husband and daughter. Unlike the more outspoken Saya, Yuriko is composed and level-headed.

During the outbreak, she demonstrates competence with firearms (due to past self-defense training in New York) and actively helps defend the Takagi estate against the undead horde. She has a graceful, aristocratic appearance with long light purple hair, purple eyes, and typically wears an elegant red dress.

She appears mainly in the later parts of the story centered around the Takagi family estate.
