Shalba Beelzebub

Shalba Beelzebub is a major antagonist in High School DxD, particularly prominent in the light novels (and adapted in the anime).

He is a pure-blooded Devil and a direct descendant of the original Beelzebub (one of the four original Satans/Maou). As one of the three leaders of the Old Satan Faction (a radical group within the Khaos Brigade that rejects the current Devil government and seeks to restore the "true" old ways), he is extremely arrogant, believing his royal lineage makes him superior to everyone else, including the current Satans.

Shalba is cruel, ruthless, and highly manipulative—he uses and discards people like Diodora Astaroth without hesitation. He appears as a handsome man with long brown hair (often covering one eye) and typically wears black armor with a cape.

In the story, he plays a key role in events involving the Dimensional Gap, Asia Argento, and confrontations with Issei Hyoudou, ultimately meeting his end after pushing Issei too far.
