Rudiger Rosenkreutz

Rudiger Rosenkreutz (also spelled Rüdiger Rosenkreutz) is a supporting character in High School DxD, particularly more prominent in the light novels.

He is a reincarnated Devil (originally a human magician) who serves as the Bishop in the peerage of an Extra Demon House leader named Mammon. He is the founder of the magician association called Rosenkreutzer (inspired by Rosicrucian themes).

Known for his exceptional magical abilities, he ranks as one of the top Rating Game competitors (around 7th place among high-class Devils). He appears as a dignified man in his twenties with silver hair, deep green eyes, and a noble, statuesque presence that gives off an air of endless depth and stateliness.

He first shows up as a referee in major Rating Games (like Rias vs. Sairaorg) and later takes on supervisory or competitive roles in tournaments, including in the High School DxD Hero season where he's voiced by Satoshi Hino (Japanese) and Kyle Igneczi (English dub).

He's often called the "Upsetting Sorcerer" due to his skill in disrupting opponents with magic.
