Riser Phenex

Riser Phenex is a high-ranking pure-blood devil and the third son of the prestigious Phenex Clan in High School DxD. He is the former fiancé of Rias Gremory due to an arranged marriage between their families.

He possesses the signature Phenex trait: regeneration powers derived from the mythical phoenix, granting him near-immortality through extremely fast healing (even from severe injuries) and fire-based abilities.

Riser is depicted as a tall, handsome young man in his early 20s with short blond hair and blue eyes. He has an arrogant, confident, and somewhat spoiled personality (especially in his initial appearances), often acting like a playboy with his all-female peerage of servants.

He serves as the main antagonist in Volume 2 (and the corresponding anime arc), where he clashes with Issei Hyoudou over Rias, but later becomes more of a supporting/neutral character in the series.
