Hades

Hades (real name Precht Gaebolg) is a major antagonist in the Fairy Tail anime, particularly during the Tenrou Island arc.

He was one of the original founders of the Fairy Tail guild, serving as its second Guild Master after Mavis Vermillion. He later passed the title to Makarov Dreyar. After leaving Fairy Tail, he turned to darker pursuits, founding and leading the powerful Dark Guild Grimoire Heart (one of the strongest in the Balam Alliance), with the goal of awakening Zeref and unleashing ultimate magic on the world.

Hades is depicted as an extremely powerful mage who delved deeply into forbidden and dark magic, granting him immense strength (including the use of a "Devil's Heart" enhancement). He appears as a tall, elderly man with long white hair, a mustache and beard, often wearing an eyepatch and a commanding presence. Despite his past as a benevolent guild leader, he becomes calm, confident, ruthless, and convinced that true power lies in darkness. He is ultimately defeated in his confrontation with Fairy Tail members and later killed by Zeref.
