Yoriichi Tsugikuni is a legendary Demon Slayer from Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba (Kimetsu no Yaiba), who lived nearly 500 years ago during the Sengoku era.
He is widely regarded as the strongest Demon Slayer to have ever existed. Yoriichi created the original Sun Breathing style (the progenitor of all other Breathing Styles, including the Hinokami Kagura later used by the Kamado family). He was born with exceptional natural abilities, including the Demon Slayer Mark, access to the Transparent World, and the Selfless State, making him overwhelmingly powerful—even Muzan Kibutsuji feared and barely escaped him.
Personality-wise, Yoriichi is calm, humble, stoic, and deeply compassionate, often appearing solemn or aloof with rare displays of emotion. He is the younger twin brother of Michikatsu Tsugikuni (later known as Kokushibo/Upper Moon One).
He bears a strong visual resemblance to Tanjiro Kamado, including similar Hanafuda earrings.
