Luna Elegant

Luna Elegant is one of the main female characters in the anime Demon Lord, Retry! (also known as Maou-sama, Retry!). She is the youngest of the three Holy Maidens (or "Three Saints") in the Kingdom of Holy Light, a 16-year-old girl with distinctive rose-pink hair and matching pink eyes, giving her an ethereal and attractive appearance.

In the anime, Luna starts off as highly arrogant, self-centered, and narcissistic due to her exceptional natural talent for magic (she has the greatest aptitude among the Holy Maidens). Raised pampered like a delicate flower because of this gift, she has an inflated sense of her own abilities and ambitions to one day surpass her older sisters. She behaves properly around them but secretly plots to outshine them.

Her encounter with the protagonist, the Demon Lord Hakuto Kunai, quickly humbles her—she challenges him confidently but suffers a swift and embarrassing defeat due to her lack of real combat experience, which forces her to confront her overconfidence. Over time, this leads to character growth, where her bratty and selfish attitude softens somewhat, showing more vulnerability, playfulness (especially around companions like Aku), and a tsundere-like dynamic toward Kunai. She often misinterprets his actions in a perverted way, projecting her own quirky thoughts onto him.
