Szayelaporro Granz

Szayelaporro Granz (also spelled Szayel Aporro Grantz in some translations) is the Octava (8th) Espada in Sōsuke Aizen's Arrancar army in Bleach. He represents the aspect of death known as madness.

He is portrayed as a meticulous, highly intellectual mad scientist figure among the Espada — narcissistic, flamboyant, sadistic, and obsessed with perfection, research, and twisted experimentation. He views himself as a "perfect existence" due to his ability to endlessly regenerate and evolve through death and rebirth cycles.

Physically, he's a tall, slender Arrancar with shoulder-length pink hair, amber eyes, and Hollow mask remnants resembling rectangular glasses, giving him a scholarly yet eerie appearance.

He's the younger brother of the late Fracción member Yylfordt Granz and serves as one of the more cerebral and horrifying antagonists during the Hueco Mundo arc, particularly in his battles against Renji Abarai, Uryū Ishida, and Mayuri Kurotsuchi. His abilities revolve around grotesque biological manipulation, voodoo-like techniques, information gathering, and resurrection-themed powers.
