Tisse Garland

Tisse Garland (ティセ・ガーランド) is a key supporting character in the anime Banished from the Hero's Party, I Decided to Live a Quiet Life in the Countryside (also known as Shin no Nakama ja Nai to Yuusha no Party wo Oidasareta node, Henkyou de Slow Life Suru Koto ni Shimashita).

She is a young, petite girl who serves as the replacement member for Gideon (Red) in the Hero's Party after his expulsion. Tisse possesses the Divine Blessing of the Assassin, making her highly skilled in stealth, combat, and assassination techniques—she's calm under pressure, proficient with dual knives, and has no hesitation about killing when necessary.

She is almost always accompanied by her small pet spider familiar named Mr. Crawly Wawly (or Uge-uge-san in Japanese), who acts as a companion and sometimes assists her.

Despite her cold, withdrawn assassin demeanor and background from the Assassin's Guild, Tisse is actually quite shy and struggles to make friends or express emotions openly. This contrasts with her professional capabilities and leads to a sweet, endearing friendship (often described as besties) with Ruti Ragnason, the Hero, whom she supports loyally—even after the party dynamics shift. In the anime, she's voiced by Rie Kugimiya (Japanese) and Jad Saxton (English).

She's introduced later in the story and becomes closely tied to Ruti's arc as they navigate events together.
