Koneko Toujou

Koneko Toujou (塔城小猫, Tōjō Koneko) is one of the main female characters in High School DxD.

She is a petite first-year student at Kuoh Academy with white hair, golden/hazel eyes, and an extremely small stature (around 138 cm / 4'6"). She serves as Rias Gremory's Rook in her peerage and is a member of the Occult Research Club.

Koneko is a reincarnated Devil and belongs to the rare Nekoshou subspecies of Nekomata (cat youkai). Her real name is Shirone, and she is the younger sister of the Stray Devil Kuroka.

Personality-wise, she starts off very quiet, stoic, and cold, rarely showing emotions and often delivering blunt, deadpan remarks (especially when scolding Issei for his perverted behavior). Despite her small size and reserved nature, she possesses incredible physical strength and is a master hand-to-hand combatant.

As the story progresses, more of her backstory is revealed, and she gradually opens up, showing a softer, more caring side beneath her kuudere exterior. She's also famously sensitive about being called short (or flat). 😼
