Shion Madarame (also known as "Mad Dog") is a supporting character and antagonist in the anime Tokyo Revengers, particularly prominent in the Tenjiku Arc (adapted in Tokyo Revengers: Tenjiku-hen and related seasons).
In the anime adaptation, he is depicted as a tall delinquent with long light/blonde hair swept to one side, the left side of his head shaved to reveal a distinctive lion tattoo extending from his temple down his neck, a small scar near his mouth, and piercings in both ears. He often wears gang uniforms associated with his affiliations.
Personality-wise, Shion is portrayed as extremely cruel, bloodthirsty, and chaotic — a wild, ruthless fighter who revels in violence and brutality. His savage nature intimidates even his own gang members, earning him the "Mad Dog" nickname within Tenjiku. He's arrogant, boastful (often overconfidently claiming he could take on entire groups alone), rude, and quick to underestimate opponents, which frequently leads to his downfall in fights. Despite this, he shows fierce loyalty to his leader, Izana Kurokawa.
He was formerly the Ninth Generation leader of the Black Dragon gang (a role tied to earlier events influencing Toman's formation) and is a member of the infamous S-62 Generation. In the story's present, he serves as one of Tenjiku's Four Heavenly Kings.
