About Kakucho

Kakucho (full name Kakucho Hitto, often called "Kaku-chan" by Takemichi) is a key character in the Tokyo Revengers anime, particularly prominent in the Tenjiku Arc (Season 2 / Tenjiku-hen).

In the anime's depiction, he appears as a tall, muscular delinquent with a buzz-cut black hairstyle, firm S-shaped eyebrows, and a single drop earring on his right ear. His most distinctive feature is a prominent scar running from the back of his head across the left side of his face, slightly touching the corner of his left eye (which appears visually impaired or differently colored, often shown as whitish in adaptations).

He serves as the right-hand man and closest confidant to Izana Kurokawa, the leader of the rival gang Tenjiku, where he's the head of the Four Heavenly Kings and known as a top-tier fighter nicknamed the "Brawler" for his exceptional strength and combat skills. Despite his intimidating presence and role as a major antagonist during that arc, Kakucho stands out for his strong sense of justice, deep loyalty (especially to Izana, whom he views almost like a king or brother), and underlying kindness—he's more honorable and reluctant about extreme violence compared to many other delinquents.

He also has a childhood connection to the protagonist Takemichi Hanagaki (whom he remembers fondly and calls by a nickname in return), which adds emotional depth to his confrontations and development in the story.

Voiced by Seiichirou Yamashita in the Japanese version, Kakucho is portrayed as serious, honorable, and conflicted at times due to his unwavering loyalty clashing with his moral compass.
