Tarte

Tarte is one of the main female characters in the anime The World's Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in Another World as an Aristocrat (also known as Sekai Saikou no Ansatsusha, Isekai Kizoku ni Tensei suru).

She is a young woman with blonde hair (often styled in twin-tails) and greenish-yellow eyes, and she serves as Lugh Tuatha Dé's personal maid, assistant, and one of his key allies in assassination missions.

In the story, Tarte was originally a frail, starving girl from a poor village who was abandoned by her family during a famine and left to die (nearly killed by wolves). Lugh rescues her, takes her in, heals her, and trains her, both as a household servant and as a capable fighter/assassin. Deeply grateful for being saved, she develops unwavering loyalty and affection toward him, often acting as his devoted supporter.

She excels in combat, particularly with spears and wind/lightning-based magic, earning her the nickname/epithet "Lightning Quick Battle Maiden" (or similar translations like "Electric War Maiden") in the anime for her fast, electrifying fighting style.

Her personality is sweet, shy, caring, and highly dedicated, she's eager to improve her skills (including cooking) to better serve Lugh, while being competitive in areas like winning his attention. She's voiced by Yūki Takada in Japanese (Courtney Lin in English dub).

Overall, she's portrayed as a reliable, combat-capable companion with a strong emotional bond to the protagonist.
