Lugh Tuatha Dé

Lugh Tuatha Dé is the main protagonist of the anime The World's Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in Another World as an Aristocrat (also known as Sekai Saikou no Ansatsusha, Isekai Kizoku ni Tensei Suru).

He is the reincarnation of the world's greatest assassin from his previous life (known then as Allen Smith), who was betrayed and killed by his own organization. A goddess offers him a chance to be reborn in a fantasy world of magic and swords, tasking him with assassinating the Hero who is destined to destroy the world if left unchecked. Retaining his memories, skills, and expertise, Lugh is reborn as the heir to the noble House Tuatha Dé, a family secretly renowned for their assassination and medical arts.

In the anime, Lugh is depicted as a highly intelligent, calm, and calculating young boy/teen (progressing through his childhood and adolescence in the series). He is a prodigy who combines his past-life mastery of assassination techniques with new magical abilities, excelling in strategy, creation of tools/weapons, disguise, and precise execution of plans. He approaches his mission with professionalism and efficiency, while also seeking a more fulfilling life free from being a mere tool for others. His personality is composed, analytical, and pragmatic, with a growing sense of personal agency and care for those close to him.
