Tusk

Tusk is one of Sung Jin-woo's powerful Shadow Soldiers in the Solo Leveling anime (particularly prominent starting in Season 2).

He is the shadow extracted from Kargalgan, the boss of a high-rank dungeon raid involving the Hunters Guild gate (introduced around Season 2, Episode 6). Kargalgan was a formidable High Orc shaman leader with red skin, immense magical prowess, and a sadistic streak toward humans, but after Jin-woo defeats him, he becomes the loyal shadow named Tusk.

In appearance (as a shadow), Tusk is depicted as a large, imposing orc-like figure with glowing red skin, glowing blue eyes, a long black hooded cloak, and often a necklace of skulls—giving him a menacing, shamanistic mage vibe.

He's one of Jin-woo's strongest magic-focused shadows, specializing in devastating area-of-effect spells (like various "Hymns" for fire, protection, gravity manipulation, and more), making him incredibly useful in large-scale battles. The anime highlights his abilities well, including some enhanced close-quarters combat moments compared to other adaptations.

Overall, he's portrayed as obedient, somewhat shy/quiet in non-combat situations, but highly competent and powerful as a key member of the Shadow Army.
