Ariane

Ariane (full name Ariane Glenys Maple, later Lalatoya in some contexts) is the main female protagonist and heroine of Skeleton Knight in Another World (Gaikotsu Kishi-sama, Tadaima Isekai e Odekake-chū).

She is a skilled dark elf warrior from an elven village, proficient in swordsmanship and spirit magic. She is on a mission to rescue and liberate her fellow elves who have been captured and enslaved by humans, following broken agreements between elves and certain human factions (notably involving a prince's actions).

Ariane becomes the first close companion and friend of the protagonist Arc (the skeleton knight) after he arrives in the fantasy world. She is straightforward, honest, strong-willed, and deeply cares about her people's welfare. In the anime adaptation, she has pink hair, golden eyes, and pale skin (differing slightly from the light novel's depiction of amethyst/purple skin and white hair for dark elves). She often travels and fights alongside Arc while pursuing her goals.
