Raihan

Raihan (Japanese: Kibana) is a character in the Pokémon anime, specifically appearing in Pokémon Journeys: The Series. He is the Gym Leader of Hammerlocke Stadium in the Galar region, specializing in Dragon-type Pokémon. He's widely regarded as the strongest Gym Leader in Galar and is a close friend and fierce rival of the undefeated Champion Leon, with his main motivation in the World Coronation Series being to one day defeat him.

In the anime, Raihan is portrayed as a tall, slim young man with black hair (tied in a protective style with an undercut), light brown skin, and cyan/teal eyes. He has a confident, charismatic, and competitive personality, often showing determination in battles while maintaining a cool and stylish demeanor. He participates in high-level matches, including against Leon and later Ash in the World Coronation Series.

No major differences from his game counterpart are emphasized in his anime portrayal—he remains a Dragon specialist with strong battling skills and a rivalry-driven drive.
