Lana

Lana (known as Suiren in Japanese) is one of Ash's classmates in the Pokémon anime during the Sun & Moon series, attending the Pokémon School on Melemele Island in the Alola region.

She's a calm, gentle, and pleasant girl with a deep love for Water-type Pokémon and the ocean. Lana is an expert at fishing and various water-related activities, often taking the lead in those during group adventures. She has a laid-back and kind personality but also shows a playful sense of humor—she's known for occasionally teasing friends with tall tales, like claiming she could catch legendary Pokémon such as Kyogre.

In the anime, her main partner Pokémon starts as Popplio (which evolves into Brionne and later Primarina), and she has a strong bond with Water-types overall. She's also a responsible older sister to her younger twin sisters, Harper and Sarah, and comes from a family with ties to the sea.

Overall, she's portrayed as reliable, caring toward Pokémon and people alike, and quietly confident in her element around water.
