Nigun Grid Luin

Nigun Grid Luin is a minor but memorable antagonist in the anime Overlord (primarily appearing in Season 1).

He serves as the captain/leader of the Sunlight Scripture, one of the elite special forces units (Six Scriptures) of the Slane Theocracy, a human-supremacist nation.

Nigun is a fanatical believer in his religion and the Theocracy's cause, showing arrogance and cruelty when in control (such as when ordering attacks on villages or attempting to assassinate Gazef Stronoff). He has a distinctive scar on his face from a past defeat against the adventurer group Blue Rose, which he kept as a reminder.

In terms of appearance, he has blonde hair, gray/black eyes, and wears distinctive black-and-white robes typical of his group.

He's a summoner-type magic caster who relies on powerful angel summons in combat, and his encounter with Ainz Ooal Gown serves to highlight the massive power gap between New World forces and high-level YGGDRASIL beings.

(He's mainly remembered for his overconfident attitude that quickly turns to panic and begging when things go wrong.)
