Ainz Ooal Gown

Ainz Ooal Gown (also known by his original player name Momonga) is the main protagonist of the anime Overlord.

He is the last remaining member of the once-powerful guild Ainz Ooal Gown in the MMORPG YGGDRASIL. When the game shuts down, he finds himself trapped in the New World as his skeletal undead avatar — an extremely powerful level 100 Overlord (elder lich-type magic caster) wearing his signature black robe, red orb necklace, and the Staff of Ainz Ooal Gown.

Key traits:

• Appearance: Tall skeletal lich with glowing red pinpoints in empty eye sockets, no skin or flesh, often cloaked in a majestic dark robe.
• Personality (as Ainz): Calm, calculating, strategic, paranoid about appearing weak, constantly overthinks situations, and maintains a dignified, commanding "Supreme Overlord" persona in front of his NPCs.
• True nature: Deep down he's still Suzuki Satorou, a fairly average Japanese salaryman who feels out of his depth but adapts ruthlessly to survive and protect his "children" (the loyal NPCs of Nazarick).

He's widely feared as an overwhelmingly powerful undead sorcerer, conqueror, and ruler of the Great Tomb of Nazarick, capable of devastating armies with high-tier magic while presenting himself as an emotionless, all-knowing evil overlord to the world.
