Kaoru Gojo is the supportive grandfather of the protagonist Wakana Gojo in My Dress-Up Darling (Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru).
He's an elderly craftsman who specializes in creating traditional Japanese hina dolls (and their intricate clothing), running a small shop for them. He raised Wakana after his parents passed away and serves as his main mentor and inspiration in doll-making, teaching him the skills from a young age.
Kaoru is caring, passionate about his traditional art form, dedicated to his work (practicing daily without fail), and quietly proud of his grandson's talent. Unlike Wakana, he's fully confident and unapologetic about pursuing what might be seen as a "feminine" hobby. He's a calm, encouraging side character who appears in family/home scenes.
