Soldat Heckler

Soldat Heckler is an S-ranked adventurer and the leader of the party Stepped Leader (sometimes referred to as Stepped Ladder) in Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation.

He is a skilled swordsman from the Northern Territories, with no notable special powers beyond his high-level adventuring prowess and strong leadership in guiding his party through tough missions.

Personality-wise, Soldat comes across as arrogant, short-tempered, confrontational, and very blunt—he speaks his mind without much filter and dislikes people who hide their true feelings. Despite this rough exterior, he shows a more supportive and understanding side, particularly in his interactions with Rudeus Greyrat during a difficult period, where he tries to recruit him multiple times and offers tough but genuine advice.

He appears prominently during the arcs set in the northern regions (around Season 2 of the anime), often clashing with or helping Rudeus while adventuring.
