Marielle

Marielle (also spelled Maryele) is a supporting character in the anime Log Horizon. She's the guild master of the Crescent Moon Alliance, a smaller guild in Akiba, and a friend of Shiroe.

She's an Elf Cleric (with Woodworker as her subclass), known for her bright, sunny personality—she's energetic, eccentric, overly affectionate, and often speaks with a playful Kansai dialect. She's famous for her habit of enthusiastically hugging (glomping) people, sometimes with enough force to slam them into walls, and she has a particular fondness for doing this to Naotsugu.

Despite her quirky, cheerful, and somewhat childish demeanor, she's a capable leader who works hard to support her guild members and help stabilize the community after the Catastrophe. In the real world (pre-trap), her name was Marie Sakamoto, a 28-year-old woman. She's often nicknamed the "Sunflower of Akiba" for her warm, uplifting vibe.
