Akatsuki

Akatsuki is a key character in Log Horizon, one of the founding members of the Log Horizon guild, and a close companion to the protagonist Shiroe.

In the game world of Elder Tale (after the Catastrophe traps players inside), she is a Human Assassin with the Tracker subclass, specializing in stealth, high burst damage, and ninja-like abilities. She often acts as Shiroe's bodyguard and refers to him as her "lord" out of gratitude and loyalty.

Her real-world identity is Shizuka Hanekura, a 20-year-old (around college age) student. Originally, she played as a tall male Assassin avatar for wish fulfillment (since she's naturally short and petite in real life), but after the Catastrophe, she obtains an appearance reset potion from Shiroe to change to a small, cute female form with purple eyes and long purple hair usually tied in a ponytail.

She's known for her serious, somewhat tsundere personality, pride in her ninja roleplay, and strong combat skills despite her tiny stature.
